Blogtober Day 1 – Autumnal makeup series #1

This is my first attempt at Blogtober, and I aim to feature an Auntumnal look each day I do my makeup!

This will be in between posts that I want to do throughout the course of October – but I’m veeeery excited – so lets go!

The first look I have created is a simple toned down, every day burnt orange look.

These kind of colours are absolutely essential when it comes to Autumn makeup looks so I intend on using them to their fullest extent.

Today’s look was created using colours from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette and the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar palette.

ABH Subculture just screams out Autumn with the orange and yellow tones that accompany it – spoiler – this will be used A LOT when it comes to this makeup series.

The Semi Sweet palette is sooo versatile, plus the Butter Peacan shade doubles up as an INSANE highlighter – as you can see from these photos!

To create this simplistic Autumnal look, I used the shade Mousse from the Semi Sweet palette in the crease to create some depth, then simply added New Wave from Subculture to the lid to brighten this look up.

I applied Butter Pecan on the brow bone and also cheekbones/nose to create a golden glow – you can’t get enough highlight!

Hope you’ve enjoyed my first Blogtober post!
