Blogtober Day 13 – Autumnal Makeup Series #6

Hey,

Another late past for today’s Blogtober post due to late work shifts getting the better of me!

I thought I’d do another autumnal makeup series today to document the look I wore for work today!

The palettes I used for this look are the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette and also the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette. I also created a wing liner look using the NYX liquid eyeliner which I am looooving at the moment.

I firstly applied the shade ‘Georgia’ from Sweet Peach to the crease of my eye to create depth. I then applied the shade ‘Roxy’ to the lid from Subculture.

‘Roxy’ is such a bright and autumnal colour – without using more burnt tones, this still creates the orange tones whilst having a brightening effect at the same time.

I then added the shade ‘Summer Yum’ to the outer corner, as I always apply a darker shade to this area to accompany the shade on the lid. I didn’t want to make this too intense as I was only going to work – so kept it nice and simple!

To ‘finish’ the look I added a small and simple eye liner wing to make it complete. Sometimes some looks don’t look complete without eyeliner, ya get me?!

These two palettes are so popular in my makeup routines lately as they are easy colours to use by themselves and an alternative to simple neutral browns – although I do love my nude eye shades.

I’d love to do a post on my brush collection – maybe one for face tools and another for eyes, would this be something you would be interested in?

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post!
